[ she's gonna have to go used to it because tama will never stop. ]
Do you have the note?
... I saw that one of the responses had a cat pun it in this week. It was so pointed, I wondered. [ ... ] Nico wondered about it at one point. One of the notes talked about previous heroes inhabiting the city, but if their competition was like ours, what happened to those who were dead? Did some of them come back?
[she digs for her phone, wincing, and then shows her.
A month after the disaster, the Harbinger building has remained closed to the public. This building is off limits and still under heavy repairs. Despite this, newspapers are still being written and are in circulation.
These prinnies first arrived with Pink Pig. They seemed to be some sort of servant, though when asked for more details they would only respond with “They are repaying their sins.” What sins those are were unclear at the time of questioning.
Pink Pig’s prinnies seem to spawn from the newspaper building. Though the hero is lost to us, the prinnies they brought to the world are still working to this day. Occasionally, they can be seen entering and exiting the newspaper building. While rumors are currently abound, none are confirmed. These prinnies may be the ones stocking the newspapers throughout the city. There has been some talk of the prinnies paying off their remaining debt, though when pressed they would not reveal any specific details. They maintain what secrecy Pink Pig asked of them.]
I kind of thought some of the messages sounded like Rocket, in the Dear Addy thing. So I tried, I sent the fountain exploder message, but I couldn't tell who replied back. [...] One of the other notes said that if your whole team dies, you get erased and made a citizen here. So I just - I don't know. Maybe they're still there. And maybe we can figure out how to talk to them, yeah.
[ she looks kinda aaaaaaaaaaaaa when nimona winces. girl. ]
Oh... so the prinnies aren't from here either. [ interesting. ] I should probably try and get some of the leaders to talk more about the four who died, see if that doesn't give us some leads.
[ hm. ] Yeah, if your whole team dies. Yet, you come part of this place. That doesn't sound like a permanent death to me. So-- where are they? I know the jail has a level to it most people can't get to, but this talks about the newspaper building...
[she is just very injured tama ): it's okay she's had worse]
Nico told me about the prinnies a while ago and I - think I erased it from my brain because I'm so sick of things not human being punished. [for like, seemingly no reason, sometimes!! anyway.]
I don't like talking to the leaders, so I can't help, but... [a beat.] Do you think they're in the newspaper building being held somehow? Or - the jail, maybe. Maybe they're connected somehow.
... [ hm. SOMETIMES YOU JUST HEAR ABOUT MONSTER HATE AND BLACK OUT, HUH? ] It's not like I'd thought a lot about them since we got here. They were just helpful and always there.
Not a fan of any of them? [ tama holding her favourites. ] It's worth looking, right? Either or. I imagine the jail will be harder to bring in to -- and no, this isn't a sign for another mass arrest, let me get that out there now. A second offense won't be treated with a lenient warning. But if we can get access to the newspaper building...
