We were trying to help him through it, and he'd already told the truth to at least one of those friends last weekend before even the Monday paper came out... that publishing schedule really didn't do him any favors.
I guess that's the problem with being separate like this. They can only see some of the things we do -- our private conversations are just that. Private.

It was pretty obvious there was something happening with Danny, yes. I haven't asked -- if he wanted to talk, well. He would.
